Yves Marc este regizor, actor și co-director artistic încă din 1975 al Théâtre du Mouvement, alături de Claire Heggen. De asemenea, este și co-fondator al lui Les Transversales, Academia Europeană a Artelor de Gest. Co-instigator al GLAM (mișcarea franceză pentru artele Mimei și Teatrului Gestural). Sinergolog și tehnician în NLP (programare neuro-lingvistică). Student al mimei corporale cu Etienne Decroux.
De-a lungul ultimilor 40 de ani, el a dezvoltat, în colaborare cu Claire Heggen, un program de cercetare în cadrul companiei, explorând anumite teme precum: Teatralitatea mișcării, Animalitatea, Mersul uman, Muzicalitatea mișcării, Expresia corporală în gânduri și emoții etc. A regizat aproximativ 20 de piese care s-au constituit în creațiile majore ale repertoriul companiei. În 2012, creează un solo, Ce Corps qui Parle, care a vizitat Avignon, Montreal, Bruxelles și diverse festivaluri franceze. Stilul său de predare este recunoscut în Franța și în străinătate: școli de teatru național, spectacole de circ, diverse ateliere. A ținut numeroase conferințe în jurul marilor teme artistice ale companiei.

Yves Marc is director, actor and Co-artistic director of Théâtre du Mouvement together Claire Heggen since 1975. In 2012 he creates a solo, Ce Corps qui Parle, which has toured in Avignon, Montreal, Brussels, and various French Festivals. His teaching is acknowledged in France and abroad: National Theatre Schools, circus performances, various workshops. He gave many conferences around the major artistic themes of the company.

Cu ocazia aniversării a 40 de ani, Théâtre du Mouvement a lansat adaptarea piesei lui Federico Garcia Lorca, „Casa Bernardei Alba”. Șocul a fost puternic, deoarece audiența Festivalului Mimos din Périgueux a descoperit, în seara de deschidere, că nimeni altul decât Yves Marc personifica figura emblematică a mamei: o femeie dezagreabilă care își obligă fiicele să jelească moartea tatălui lor. Ele se roagă și împletesc fără răgaz.
Sora cea mică, care visează să se căsătorească cu frumosul Pepe, se răzvrătește împotriva autorității materne și obiceiurilor rigide ale Spaniei Catolice. Trupul ei exultă, sufletul îi este euforic și dornic de libertate. Realizat într-o scenografie impresionantă cu negrul dominant, forța poetică a gesturilor și imaginilor aduce jocul de constrângeri și frustrări în lumină deplină. Puțin câte puțin, un afișaj de jaluzele și voaluri expune vina, gelozia, dorințele nerecunoscute. O creație intensă, exactă, senzuală.

ALBA
On the occasion of its 40th anniversary, Théâtre du Mouvement launched the adaptation of Federico Garcia Lorca’s play „The House of Bernarda Alba”. The shock was momentous as the audience of the Mimos Festival in Périgueux discovered, on the opening night, that none other but Yves Marc was impersonating the emblematic figure of the mother: an abrasive woman who shuts her daughters in the vice of the grieving over their father’s death. They pray and embroider, without any respite.
The youngest sister, who dreams of marrying the handsome Pepe, rebels against maternal authority and the rigid customs of Catholic Spain. Her body exults, her soul is elated and hungry for freedom. Set in a most impressive black scenography, the poetic force of gestures and images brings the play of constraints and frustrations in full light. Little by little, a display of blinds and veils exposes the guilt, the jealousy, the unacknowledged desires. An intense, stringent, sensuous creation.
