Yafit Levi, în vârstă de 36 de ani, este o actriță și creatoare independentă. Absolventă a învățământului superior la „Body Theater”, o școală de teatru fizic bazată pe metoda lui Jacqus Lecoq. Are o diplomă de licență în teatru de la Universitatea din Tel Aviv și a studiat dramaturgia în unul dintre teatrele cu cel mai bogat repertoriu din Israel – „Bet Lesin”. A primit o bursă de studii ca actor creativ din partea Fundației Culturale America-Israel. A jucat în mai multe spectacole în diferite teatre. Ca scriitoare, a scris mai multe piese, șapte dintre acestea fiind puse în scenă în diverse teatre din Israel.

Yafit Levi, 36 years old, is an individual creator and actress. Graduate of the higher education „Body Theater”, a physical theater school by Jacqus Lecoq method. She has a bachelor’s degree in theater at the Tel Aviv University, and also learned playwriting in one of the biggest reportorial theaters in Israel – ”Bet Lesin”. Received a scholarship to continue studying as a creative actor from the America-Israel Cultural foundation. Acted in many performances in different theaters. As a writer, she wrote many plays and seven of them went up on stage in Israel in different frameworks.

„Fumând ca un bărbat (Smoke Like a Man)” este o monodramă bazată pe viața artistei Frida Kahlo. Acest spectacol de teatru fizic dezvăluie fațete din viața unei femei complexe, sociabile, independente și rebele. O femeie care a încălcat codurile normelor sociale, s-a confruntat cu probleme de identitate și de gen, de la politică la artă și a pregătit calea pentru multe femei în anii următori.
„Imediat ce medicii au informat-o că piciorul ei trebuie amputat, Frida a fugit în camera ei și s-a închis înăuntru. A woman who broke the social norm codes, dealt with identity and gender issues, from politics to art, and bravely paved the way for many women in years to come.
